When I was in the tenth grade, I remember we took a Secondary Section Certificate exam. It is a state level exam and about 35000 take it every year. Now, there is every possible chance that the exam papers get leaked probably 10 hours before the actual time. I got the highest grade in my school in Mathematics (rather an unexpected thing since a friend of mine used to get the highest grade in Mathematics every single time) and I came to know that I got the highest grade because I somehow paid money to get papers in advance.

| Yesterday evening, I went to this great Thai restaurant, Liu Ponxi, with three of my friends from work. The food was awesome. Now, this place has valet parking. So, the valet guy brought my car, and I went home. As soon as I got out of my car, and was about to lock it, I saw two car keys. I realised that the valet had kept the keys in the passenger seat, while he was bringing my car, and then he eventually forgot to take it. I had to call the restaurant to tell the situation. An hour later, he came to my place, and took the car keys. Imagine the people who had to unnecessarily wait to get their car back, because of that jerk who forgot to take the keys.

| Well, after watching the desi version of the American Idol series, I think I am addicted to American Idol. For starters, there is an American Indian (born in India kind), who is in the top 20. I am rooting for him, although I feel that there are better singers in the competition. Please vote for him to stay in the competition. Let Sanjaya Mainkar win!!! | | |

Well, in my past three years in the United States, I have been following baseball. I did not develop a liking for the game instantly, but eventually, it grew on me. Now, I am a St Louis Cardinals fan. No one has the time and energy in the world to watch the entire 162 game season on TV or in the stadium, but I make it a point to follow the game on the internet.
This year, the Cardinals had taken a back seat in their overall game play. They have been losing games one after the other, to the extent that they had lost 9 in a row. Moreover, it was rather pathetic to pin our hopes on Houston Astros. Astros should lose the game, so that we clinch the Central Division. It had come all down to the wire, and Astros did lose their crunch game against Atlanta Braves. What a way to win!
Because of this, the media had probably portrayed the Cardinals as the undeserving team to make it to the play offs this year. It would be a cake walk for the San Diego Padres to demolish the Cardinals, and take a spot in the National League Championship Finals. But, no, we beat them by 3 games to 1.
Now, we face the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series. It is a best of 7 feature, with the team winning 4 games goes to the final against the American League Champion. I got an opportunity to watch both the games on television, and I am so excited to see the series tied at 1-1 so far. I really wish the Cardinals would win the Series and proceed to the grand finale. Here’s wishing my team all the best in the series.
The most exciting thing was one of my friends from India actually emailed me that he was disappointed by the way the Cardinals lost the first game. I wondered as to how he would know about the series. He said that he saw the game on ESPN. They are showing the NLCS in India. Kudos to ESPN!!!! | | |
